This is the personal website and blog of Trevor Klein, UK based cross-platform producer, comedy filmmaker and irregular knitter.
Jobby
I work for Somethin’ Else, a playful digital company nestled by the Old Street Roundabout in London making and managing interactive content, radio, games, video and talent. (I stole that from the About page)
As their development producer, I’m all about generating ideas and meeting briefs that are sent our way, so if you ever need something really awesome made, get in touch – we’ll do our best to help!
Prior to this I spent several years at BBC Switch, producing a range of cross-platform projects across mobile, BBC online, social networks and TV.
Popcorn Comedy
I run this along with Barry Pilling and Jon Petrie.
It’s a Time Out ‘Critic’s Choice’ monthly comedy/film night where comedians and filmmakers introduce and try out their own short films in front of a live audience. Alongside this, there’s also live sketch and stand up, just to spice things up.
We’re normally at the Roxy Bar and Screen (in between Borough and London Bridge) from 8pm on the first Thursday of every month. We’ve got a website, facebook, twitter and youtube, too.
Pocket Money
A blog I run along with Dan Morris pulling together all the various teen, techy and cool stuff we find around the web. If you’re interested, or have a link you want to send us, hop onto Pocket Money.
Filmmaking
I do this a lot, and have been for about ten years. Currently my time is split between making short films for Popcorn Comedy, filming sketches for Little Albert, and doing the odd rap video for BBC Comedy Online.
Knitting
I knit, but not very well.
