DARES, starring ORNAMENTAL COWS

A 30 second film I made last weekend. It’s the re-enactment of a childhood conversation about DARES as performed by two ornamental cows. You should definitely watch it.

Go on.

I dare you.

Little Albert – Wishful thinking

Another sketch, filmed by me, written and directed by Little Albert (Bertie and Fergus). One of my favourites, mostly because of the ‘special effect’ (which involved the glass from a small picture frame, sellotape, a plastic bag and a load of fake blood).

Little Albert – Tom’s Chips

One of my favourite Little Albert sketches to film, not least because I was allowed to direct it. It was, as ever, written by Fergus Dingle and Bertie Peek (youtube version here). In related news, my chum Kenny has recently launched the very snazzy ComComedy site, where many a funny sketch can be found: “ComComedy […]

Little Albert – Quids In

The first sketch I filmed for ‘Little Albert’, written by Fergus Dingle and Bertie Peek.  We used a dolly track made of what I think were guttering pipes from Homebase.

Hat’s Amoré

A film I made with my housemates for the Motorola “DirectorME” shorts competition. Our given topic was ‘fashion disaster brings unlikely couple together’ and this effort managed to get us to the semi-finals. Pictures by Sam Shepherd, Trevor Klein, Barry Pilling and Claire Pocock Noise by Cop on the Edge

Gunner’s Dream

One minute film I made jointly with Sophie Parker for a Leeds Student TV competition.  The music is Gunner’s Dream by Pink Floyd and, in the absence of actually giving the film a title, we’re using that.

Avril Lasagne

A short film I made for Leeds Student TV to give some of the Freshers a chance to practice their camera work.  And also because I had genuinely heard a rumour that they were going to make a film based on ‘Skater Boy’ and didn’t know how to react.
